About

Pedal with Pride offers cycling holidays for LGBTQ+ riders, their friends and allies, crafting journeys with community at their heart. These trips are about more than the cycling: meeting new people and enjoying the outdoors and local culture as part of an inclusive group.

Our aim is simple: to offer LGBTQ+ led trips where everyone feels immediately welcome and accepted, and where each journey is a shared experience alongside likeminded cyclists.

About Pedal with Pride

I’m Laurie, and I found my love of cycling while training to complete the 340km (231 mile) Avenue Vert, a cycle route linking London and Paris and a long-held goal of mine. Since then, it’s become a regular part of my life: especially exploring the countryside around my home city of Bristol. Cycling is the perfect way to cover enough ground to see variety, yet slow enough to really experience a place.

About me

Laurie on bike

Outside cycling, I work as a careers coach and have a background in teaching and group facilitation, designing experiences that help people connect. I bring that same approach to Pedal with Pride to create a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

When not cycling, you can find me practising handstands and singing with a local choir (not at the same time!).

Looking forward to meeting you!
